2. The Dequindre Cut

Keep up your summer bod with a run or bike on The Dequindre Cut.  Stretching all the way from the riverfront to just north of Eastern Market, there is no better way to get out and enjoy the weather than a stroll through this greenway packed with urban artwork. If you’re thirsty swing by Bea’s Squeeze for a refreshing old fashioned lemonade.

3. Eastern Market

Saturdays at Eastern Market are an amazing way to hit the town on a beautiful sunny day and come home with some fresh produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, and local art.  Simply walk around, take in the views and smells, or come hungry and leave with a checked off grocery list!

4. Campus Martius

Hit the beach in the city center at Campus Martius where you can sink your toes in the warm sand and sip a cold cocktail.  Be sure to check out this spot for great events, parties, and live music all summer long and kick back in the fun, bright beach seating.

5. Belle Isle

On a sunny day, you need to be on the water.  Good thing Belle Isle has water on all sides!  Head across the MacArthur Bridge for a nice bike ride through the park or to lounge around at the beach and catch the beautiful sunset over the city.
